Day 31, Goodbye Katy & Jason

Day 31, another crystal clear day, has us touring the Boeing companies 777 and 787 aircraft assembly plant.  If you plan on being in the area, save your $15 per person plus tax entry fee.  The tour is not much and more of a Boeing advertisement than anything else.  No cameras or cell phones allowed.  Trade secrets, you know!  People are allowed to take photos from the observation deck above their gift shop.  Babs took these dramatic photos! The plane that looks like a pregnant 747 is a plane that hauls the various body sections for the 787 Dreamliner from all over the world to this Boeing plant for assembly.
This mountain is the second biggest volcano in Washington State, Mt. Baker.
My poor Katy has not felt well this whole trip and today it all caught up with her.
So after the excitement of the Boeing tour we checked into Babs & my hotel room and Katy took a well needed nap.
Before dropping Katy and Jason off at the airport, we had dinner at at Sharp’s smokehouse Restaurant.  They have crayons on the table and Katy created her “Hunch Back Bear”.
After dinner we dropped Katy & Jason off at SEA-TAC airport.  We’ll miss their company.  They are excellent traveling companions!
Tomorrow, Babs & I will be having breakfast with Paul & Mary Fleming.  They are old friends from my days in the Army.
